Dr. Tannenbaum

Dr. Dana Tannenbaum has extensive specialized training and experience in treating glaucoma. She maintains her thriving practice in North Hollywood, California. Dr. Tannenbaum serves as assistant clinical professor in the department of ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA. She is affiliated with Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Encino/Tarzana Medical Center, Motion Picture & Television Hospital and Freedom Vision Surgery Center.

Dr. Tannenbaum is a board certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Glaucoma Society. She is also a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the worlds largest eye health and vision research organization. Dr. Tannenbaum completed her medical residency in ophthalmology at UCSD and her fellowship in glaucoma at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA. She is frequently called upon to present lectures and seminars on glaucoma to physicians and patients.

Dr. Tannenbaum is an Expert Witness in the areas of glaucoma, cataract surgery and traumatic eye injuries. Including plantiff and defense.

Dr. Tannenbaum is a leading researcher on the newest techniques for imaging the optic nerve for early diagnosis of glaucoma. She has published extensively and has won numerous awards for her work in this area.
